Sorry i havnt been online in a while we keep having power cuts and that means no internet. I keep my blog on my laptop so will upload it all today
D day has arrived to see if all of this
play ground fits together. We got all the volunteers to help carry and lift it
in to place while we had to alter the holes and put the bolts in to secure it
all together. At one point I had to climb 2.5 m up and sit on the pole while
widening the joint in the main beam. Will a volunteer here asked me if I knew I
was sawing the very beam I was sat on. There isn’t much in the way of health
and safety here.
All the cementing went ok we only had time
for the monkey bars the balancing beam will be done on Sunday.
I am really enjoying my time here and
getting to know the people here. As volunteers come and go we have had some
funny times and its nice hearing every ones traveling storys and storys of what
they are like back home.
