Was a day of doing much of nothing. We
needed to cement more of the playground to set ready for Monday when the 400
odd children would bombard it and inevitably brake something that needs
fixing.
I went to town in the afternoon to have
something to do and to upload my blog as im now days behind. Surprisingly being
without internet hasn’t effected me as much as it would. There wasn’t any power in town so all the
internet cafes was shut.
The less I’m on Facebook the more boring I
find it. So after a few mins online if there is no one to talk to then I get
bored quite quick. I am now half way through my book and I am starting to think
about a best mans speech I have to do when I am back in the UK.
Tonight we had a DVD night and watched a
film called her. It was about a man falling in love with an artificial
intelligence ( his computer ) it was all very weird but nice to know we can
watch a dvd around the fire if we wish to.
Emma and I did a bit of back woods cooking
( cooking scout style ) on the fire. We made cake in an orange skin with a bit
of chocolate. This was gorgeous it tasted like terrys chocolate orange but as a
cake. We also did chocolate bananas and apple cored out and sugar put in the
middle of it. All the food turned out great.
